Describe your feelings towards the picture on the front cover of "The Rules of Survival." Do you think it correctly represents the story? If you had the ability to design a new front cover, how would it look?
I believe that the rules of survival cover art was good for the story because the kids live with Nikki who is crazy and would probably do something like make them eat glass.
I believe that the cover of the book fits it very well. The bowl could be any normal bowl of cereal, however it's filled with glass, showing how Nikki harms the children.
I think That this book cover fits this story Very well. If I could make a new cover I would Make It look like what the BAD Character (Nikki) Does to them Because She Is the person who put them through all this pain.
We believe that the cover fits the story well because, because the broken glass is both unpleasant, and dangerous just like the kids lives in the rules of survival.
I think the cover relates to the story because instead of there lives being normal and eating regular cereal there lives are full of pain and they eat glass.
The picture on the cover of the book seemed weird to me at first, but as I read on, I realized that it really had nothing to do with the book. If i had the ability to design a new front cover it would be a picture of a family in a heart, but the heart is torn in half with the mother on the opposite side of the kids.
When I first got the book I wondered what it could possibly be about because like , there's simply a blue background with a bowl of glass in the center . Though , when I began to actually read the book I began to realize the symbolism of the cover ( the struggles the 3 children face on a daily basis ] and how much is does relate to the story , so yes i do think it correctly represents the story . If I had the opportunity to create a new cover I wold not .
It does somewhat correctly represent the book. it's kinda ironic though. Living with Nikki is like walking on broken glass barefooted. But where does the bowl come from? You might ask that but the answer is T.B.D ( To Be Determined). Here is a great question: What would Matt have done if they were still living with Nikki?
i thought wen i first saw it it was weird but as i got into it it was a really good book i kinda see how it relates to the story and dosent
